“Headlight Alignment our specialty”

I chose this ad, because number one my first reaction is this is pretty ridiculously funny. Funny in the sense that this ad does what exactly what the company wanted caught people’s attention.  As you can see in the ad it caught the guy’s attention so much that he skidded off the road. The ad actually doesn’t show any way that they are specialized to fix headlights. They were trying to be funny by using “headlights” in more than one way. I wouldn’t take my car there personally, just for the plain fact that I don’t feel at all secure that they will do a good job on my car, much less my headlights. After all, it turns out that sex sells in all ways. The ad i found this on is below.

GO TO COLLEGE, ITS EASY!!

This one ad I had seen on daytime television. The commercials I had seenwas this young student convincing me to goTo college. The exact line he used was “Get off your butt and go, Your onthe phone anyways dial this number now and do it, its easy.”I thought that was funny and interesting because the commercials were targeted to people at home who obliviously aren’t at school.They know exactly know who is at home and watching TV, instead of being in school Also they used a younger guy, a guy who is college age and who is “relating” to the youngerCrowdBy using language that what is knownThat the college age would use. He was personable but also firm with his words. They want to makeIt seem like anyone who is able to go to collegeAfter all, it’s easy right? Krista Goss
